Zhu Rong is the scantily-clad queen of the Nanman tribe and wife of Meng Huo and she is said to be a descendant of the God of Fire, Zhu Rong. She is the only female character in the game whose involvement in battle is not totally fictional. She has a small role in the mainstream games as another general stationed in the Nanman camp. In the battle between Shu Han and Nanman, she leads her troops to attack Zhuge Liang's forces after Meng Huo is defeated five times. Her role becomes more prominent in the Xtreme Legends versions of the game, in which she follows Meng Huo to conquer the other warlords in China before returning home for a peaceful life. She is one of the seven characters from the original series who do not appear in Dynasty Warriors 6 for unknown reasons.
